Dates and black raisins are very good with natural sugars and rich source of essential nutrients. Dragon fruit, an otherwise tasteless fruit which is good for weight loss and maintaining healthy diet flavoured with coconut milk is a popular Vietnamese drink. Now I tried combining it with some dry fruits making it much more healthier. A small glass of this drink gives you a lot of energy.
Method:
- Add dragon fruit pieces scooped out from half dragon fruit into the mixer.
- Add 5-6 dates,1 cup milk and 1 cup coconut milk to make a smooth drink.
- Add 2 tablespoons of honey and blend again. Increase the amount if needed. You can add either milk or coconut milk to get required consistency.
- Add few black or brown raisins at last when serving, for an extra punch.
Serve chilled.
- I dissolved coconut milk powder to get coco milk. Fresh coco milk adds much more flavour to the drink.
