- Passion fruit
Passion fruit, orange,lemon are rich in Vitamin C and many other essential minerals and have anti-oxidant properties. This is a refreshing juice made within minutes, so healthy and you will not stop with a single glass.
Method:
- Take juice from single lemon which comes to 1/4 tumbler. Add water to reach 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup sugar, roughly cut ginger pieces. Let sugar dissolves. It will take around 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut open passion fruit and take the jelly like fruit in a cup. You will just need a spoon hardly to scoop out.
- Remove seeds from orange. Save some passion fruit seeds for garnishing or get a crunchy feel.
- Grind passion fruit and orange without adding any water. I used a juicer and extracted only the juice.
- You can use a fine strainer and filter only the extract and remove the grinded seeds off.
- Add lemon-sugar mixer without ginger pieces.
- Cold water is preferrable to mix further. Adjust sugar and water as per taste and quantity needed.
The cooler is ready to serve chilled. The passion fruit’s flavour along with refreshing ginger and lime is a definite hit at home.
- Since it has ginger, you do not worry much of getting a common cold. Good for our sunny climate.
- If you have passion fruit seeds, crunch it completely as it is not so safe to swallow as such.
